Doutzen kroes at Prada
Many designers are now using models closer to the real women, more curves and less bones. Well, not that Victoria's Secret models are like a lot of us girls, but at least they have got some curves. Big fashion houses like Louis Vuitton and Prada booked models they normally would not even think about for the runway.
Miuccia Prada has been known to support the tall, thin and pale look, however this season her aesthetic changed, and threw critics a literal "curve-ball". For Prada's W/F 2010 show the fashion house flew in many angels especially for this occasion:Alessandra, Doutzen, Miranda, Rosie, and Bianca which are all obviously slender, but famously shapely.
This season miuccia amazingly shifts our eyes from the clothes, to the way the woman's body transforms them. Both labels shared a similar line-up and trend: librarian chique. For once designers are letting clothes do what they should do, showcase the womens body - properly.
