Who would of thought that little schoolgirl hair styles would be the new thing? Apparently they are as we saw them come down many different runways during Fashion Week S/S10. Pigtails and braids were all the rage, also flowers at Chanel, bows at Luella and Vuitton ( and the afros at Vuitton) sweet barrettes at Phillip Lim, pretty headpieces at Peter Some, sweet hair accesories are definitely having a moment.
Another girly girl trend to rock Fashion Week 2010 was the braid, and I think Alexander Wang did it fantastically. The genius behing the hair was stylist Guido Palau and he was spot on at creating a easy-going look inspired by the 70's and early 80's "Brooke Shields thing", Palau says about using extensions: "The girl's of that period didn't really cut their hair". I'm definitely going to be trying this trend, LOVE IT!
